Love Motels are an inexpensive and convenient alternative to traditional hotels in Seoul. Most are priced at 30,000 Won (~$24 when this video was made).

Though Love Motels are often used for only an hour or two, customers may stay up to 24 hours.

I looked at three different motels and all had similar amenities, but the one in the video, where I stayed, was the nicest. Supposedly, there are Love Motels better than 3-4 star hotels. These are rumored to have around-the-room mirrors, big screen plasma TVs, complex gaming systems, jacuzzis, and vibrating beds.

  3. Raj, I have no idea! If you look on my map, I placed this story’s pin in the general vicinity of the hotel. That’s as good as you’re going to get! Wander around Seoul, look for the symbol shown in the video (the circle with rising steam, which is also the symbol for jimjilbangs), and you’re sure to find a love hotel on every other block. Good luck!
