Oh yeah! Lotte Mart is pretty much the Costco/Sam’s Club of South Korea. They have these samples all the time, too, not just on weekends. This works all over the world, including in Mongolia where I sampled some cookies and weird, rotten-tasting milk products today. I refused to try the specially fermented mare’s milk, though.
It’s funny how so many of these little techniques work everywhere.

That was a great video. It’s like eating all of the samples at costco and topping off with a $1.50 hot dog and soda.

That soupy pasta thing was cold and not very good, and the fishy thing I eat at the beginning is nearly disgusting. Everything else I tried was really good, even the tree root stuff, if that’s what it was…
