Best Story Yet! …on the way

12 June 2009 in Miscellaneous

I’m writing a major article about a fascinating adventure I had this week. We’re talking about people named Nephi, Enoch, and Anna Zella, satellite internet, homemade cheese, 4 wives, 38 kids, 17 kids, tight jeans, Crocs, ATVs, dynamite, homeschooling, high school volleyball, female CPAs, professors, and medical doctors, tactical hideouts, off-the-grid living, water tanks that double as swimming pools, milking cows, Sam’s Club, morning prayer, Fundamentalist Mormons, no health insurance, sister wives, plumbers, mailmen, community potluck dinner, RAZR phones, and The Rock. I will cover these things and more.

Anyone can write about the minutiae of daily living, but few venture outside their comfort zones of reality. I took part in a lifestyle so outside that comfort zone that it seemed surreal. We’ve all heard about “thinking outside the box,” but I wanted to experience living outside the box. I did, if only for one day and night.

With my travels starting in less than a week, however, I need to start focusing on what this website is really about—the travels, the people, the (mis)adventures. This article will provide a good foundation.

Within the next week, I will post the first article about this experience. Your wait will be worth it!
