I have to give Target higher management some credit here. They have communicated with me and are engaged in the issue. Target&#039;s Shreveport/Youree Drive staff was very pleasant with me when I asked to volunteer to clean the area. I want to make that clear, as I see this as a bigger issue beyond them. Let me also say that Target is the only store I know on Youree Drive (or anywhere in Shreveport) that has a conservation area.

Really, I see a couple problems with this whole thing. First, I think it&#039;s disingenuous for most corporations to present themselves as conservationists, especially when their eco projects are so small in scale. Second, if they are &quot;committed to preserving our natural habitat,&quot; then do so by keeping it clean, at a minimum. I bet 15-20 minutes per week would do it.</description>
